Marbella here I come....

Marjory and I have planned a day out to Coin pronounced Cohen, Jacks sisters name, now anyway I’m lucky as Majory speaks Spanish rather well, well enough to order cabs and lunch etc

I have decided to buy a C.D and learn a little myself. Marjory has never heard of www.medhead.com but thinks it a great idea for the public to be able to advertise there property in seven different languages as she says the market is dead here and the British aren’t buying property like they used to, she may even be my first customer as she and her husband Brian have a apartment that they let out for holidays in Nerja and could be good for the Christmas period.

I have explained that the advert on medhead stays published for a year. I know I should be perhaps be concentrating on the challenge a little more I mean one customer isn’t going to allow me to win, but too excited about Monday and well a little nervous too.

I love Marbella, frankly I am beginning to love Spain.
At the clinic I met a lovely woman Marjory we had lunch together and she lives in Nerja further up the coast but the good news is she is going into the clinic for a knee operation the same day as me so I won’t feel quite so alone. For two pins I would move here Jack wouldn’t hear of it yet says he’s too young to retire yeah right 62 next birthday.

Who knows if I make a lot of money with the www.medhead.com challenge I would like to rent a place here every year. The weather is still great though a little cool in the evening .

I don’t know where the offices of Costa del Sol newspaper is but Maria on reception has promised to send my advertisement by courier. I could probably do this on line I can log on to my account with medhead and see the traffic my ad has made and how much commission I have made, lots I hope and I will be able to monitor all this from my hospital bed as I now have a date for the face lift being next Monday Cripes. Wish me luck.

I have found a newspaper called the Costa del Sol news and I think this is the perfect newspaper to advertise www.medhead.com as part of my plan to win the medhead travel challenge I’ve decided to place an ad before I go into a clinic for my face lift. My unique code that is in the advert (ruth) gives anyone who wants to rent or sell there property a ten percent discount and I will get forty percent of the 125 euro fee which I will need as Jack has said he is not going to contribute to the cost of my new face, once again I’m not impressed with him, and I will remind him of the cost of the new Saab he bought last year.
Last night I was asked by a rather charming man in the golf bar to join him for dinner as he was dining alone as his companions other golfers had gone on a drinking spree and he didn’t feel like it so I did, yes I did ,dinner that is..,…. are you reading this Jack.

Day Three of the www.medhead.com travel competition which will have to wait a day or two till I get started being as I went to the cosmetic surgeon just for a consultation and I was seriously impressed, I’ve still got just under a month to get started on my promotion of medhead but I’m going to do it ! the surgery that is, a face lift apparently it’s only a day or two’s stay and all being well I can get down to business thereafter a new me. Medhead organizers have told me that the travel insurance that they paid for me does not include voluntary treatment. and have asked me to sign a waiver. The way I figure it i is a chance for me to do something for myself I love my children,and I’ve been a good mother and well they’ve grown now and have lives of there own and Jack well he will say I’m mad but I’m still going ahead.
Funny thing is that I’m finding writing these blogs quite cathartic really and had I not have taken the www.medhead.com challenge I might not have plucked up the courage I’m aware that I will have some catching up to do once I leave the clinic but I’m very excited.

Day two of the www.medhead.com travel competition and I have spoken to the organizer, she tells me that I can only use the adverts that I can download from clicking on the euro button of the site and then taking them to a local advertiser or publication.
I’m not really in the mood for this today but have asked reception to print me off a few leaflets. Can’t believe it’s November and it’s such a sunny day I have bought some Jimmy Choo shoes in Porto Banus and a Chanel bag even though the pound has dropped still a bargain price. I have been contacted again by medhead and they tell me that phone calls to the Uk are not included in the all inclusive deal whilst I’m promoting them only Spanish National calls.

I’ve received the printed leaflets from reception and I’m not very keen on them they look wishy washy and I don’t think I’m going to walk around posting them in café’s and suchlike it’s not really me, but I will find a local newspaper that I like whist I’m out to post an advertisement in.

I’ve arrived and rested, The www.medhead.com organizers lived up to there promise.
I have been given a suite way too big for my needs as there are two bedrooms and a living room in a hotel right bang opposite Porto Banus. Apparently where the rich and famous live and shop ah shop and that’s what I tend to do this morning, also I have asked reception where the nearest printers are as I’m supposed to print off some leaflets but don’t think I will do that today as there’s no time restriction as to when I need to get started.

I found a clinic on the internet that I want to check out first and have made an appointment for this afternoon. In case my husband Jack reads this I’m not impressed with him as I’ve asked for the name of his PR Company to assist with getting me started with the promotion of medhead as I intend to win, he said he didn’t want to involve them, thanks Jack will call you later.

Gatwick airport and the flight was delayed by 40 minutes as the crew had not yet turned up apparently now that they are cutting back on flighs t due to I’m sure the credit crunch they are thinly spread and keep changing there plans, I’m only hoping that the driver from the organizers of the http://www.medhead.com competition will wait for me to arrive but I’m using the time to blog on my lap top while I wait as I’m supposed to log in every day and frankly if I’m too tired at the other end well I’ve lived up to my obligation, so this is it boring I know but they never said I had to make it riveting .

I have been told to blog on this site as part of the terms and conditions of accepting a free flights etc. by entering a competition ran by the clearly bonkers site called www.medhead.com and I can say whatever i like as long as i tell everyone about what i am doing and where I go.

I opened a gold envelope that is telling me my destination is Marbella Spain now this is funny as my sister and I were planning to go there anyway as I want to check out a clinic for a nip and tuck not for me but for her, although I may do some research of my own, why not.

I’ve got my flight ticket in hand and it’s all inclusive except for the mini bar. I am to be a consultant promoting www.medhead.com I’ve clicked a euro button on the site and got my code so far so good. I have a good chance of winning this competition as I used to be in recruitment.

I will get paid as well, as apparently, if I give out my unique code I get some kind of commission and the free holiday when, if, I win, I’m already on a free holiday but I will do all the things they ask as I am a honorable person. I’ve charged the mobile phone they have given me Kim from www.medhead.com has called and told me that a car will be provided to the airport she sounds like M from James Bond so I start my mission Ruth 002 .
